Resumen:
El objetivo principal de esta investigación es analizar las relaciones que se presentan entre las políticas públicas y los Emprendimientos de la Economía Popular y Solidaría (EEPS) en el Cantón Sigchos, con el fin de identificar las posibles contribuciones de las primeras en el desarrollo del sector de la Economía Popular y Solidaria y en el mejoramiento de los ingresos de sus habitantes. Se ha utilizado técnicas de investigación cualitativa y cuantitativa. Se ha realizado encuestas con 54 hogares y observación participante para comprobar las hipótesis de trabajo. Se comprueba empíricamente que no existe diferencia estadísticamente significativa entre la producción colectiva e individual. Sin embargo, la comercialización colectiva revela diferencia significativa con la comercialización individual. Para la sostenibilidad de los EEPS, es necesario consolidar la exploración de las potencialidades territoriales, fortalecer la confianza entre los asociados de los emprendimientos y desarrollar políticas que respondan a las expectativas de los integrantes.

The main objective of this research is to analyze the relations that occur between public policies and the Enterprises of the Popular and Solidarity Economy (EPSE) in the Cantón Sigchos, in order to identify the possible contributions of the first in the development of the sector of the Popular and Solidarity Economy and in the improvement of the income of their inhabitants. We used qualitative and quantitative techniques of research. We conducted a survey with 54 households and participating observation to test the hypothesis of the investigation. We verified empirically that there is no statistically significant difference between the collective and individual production. However, the collective commercialization reveals significant difference with the individual commercialization. For the sustainability of the EPSE, it is necessary to consolidate the exploration of the potential territorial, strengthen trust among the partners of the enterprises and develop policies that respond to the expectations of the members.
