Resumen:
La presente investigación tiene como objetivo principal analizar los mecanismos de coordinación que existe entre el Gobierno Autónomo de Cotacachi con las Juntas de Agua Potable y Alcantarillado y también identificar la interacción del Gobierno a través de la Secretaría del Agua Demarcación Mira. Se analizará, los aspectos más importantes de la normativa del agua del Ecuador para conocer cómo se han realizado los mecanismos de coordinación en cuanto a dedición de roles y responsabilidades, intercambio de recursos a través de capacitaciones y apoyo, acuerdos y vinculación de vinculación, resolución de conflictos y costos de transacción.

The main objective of this research is to analyze the mechanisms of coordination that exist between the GAD of Cotacachi with the local communities of water, and also to identify the interaction of the Government through SENAGUA. The most important aspects of Ecuador's water regulations will be analyzed in order to know how coordination mechanisms have been carried out, in relation to the dedication of roles and responsibilities, exchange of resources through training and support, agreements and linking links, resolution of conflicts and transaction costs.
