| dc.description | The present investigation will carry out an analysis of the Bilateral Relations between Ecuador and the United States, in terms of security. These data will lead to the determination of the elements that exert pressure between decision making and the implementation of the Ecuadorian foreign policy agenda. The methodology that will be used in this research will be focused on the content analysis of security discourses, which will enable the obtainment of relevant information for its development. In order to delimit this investigation the selected time frame is 2008 to 2018, years that can clearly contribute to the development of this research, taking into account that during these years two governments holded power: first, Rafael Correa´s and then Lenín Moreno´s. Therefore, the research work proposes -as a starting point- the focus on the study of Bilateral Relations in terms of discourse and International Policy. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | La presente investigación realizará un análisis de las relaciones bilaterales entre Ecuador y los Estados Unidos, en términos de seguridad. Con estos datos, se determinará los elementos que causan tensión entre la toma de decisión y la implementación de la Agenda de política exterior ecuatoriana. La metodología a utilizarse en esta investigación estará enfocada en el análisis de contenido de los discursos de seguridad, el cual permitirá obtener información relevante para su desarrollo. Para poder delimitar el presente trabajo, se determinó que el periodo comprendido entre 2008 y 2018 es un aporte clave para la investigación; considerando que durante esos años ostentaron el poder dos gobiernos: primero el de Rafael Correa y, luego, el de Lenín Moreno. Por lo tanto, este análisis propone como punto de partida el enfoque en el estudio de las relaciones bilaterales en términos de discursos y Política Internacional. | es_ES |
