dc.descriptionThis research addressed in context the immigration phenomenon of Ecuador during the period 2007-2012, focusing on the analysis of treatment media regarding immigration issues in 2012, for which it took as a reference to print media El Telégrafo and El Universo and television media as Teleamazonas and TC Televisión. In addition, data may show public opinion regarding the Quito population remains to immigration, the development of objective and subjective insecurity of Quito and its correlation with private migrant population of liberty. Finally, the results of content analysis and discourse on the immigration issue , a product of which we can see that the media treatment of the media analyzed is not adequate and also that the immigrant population has no more impact on citizen insecurity will show that It presents the city of Quito.es_ES
dc.description.abstractEste trabajo de investigación aborda en contexto el fenómeno inmigratorio del Ecuador durante el período 2007-2012, enfocándose en el análisis del tratamiento de medios referente a temas inmigratorios del año 2012, para lo cual se tomó como referente a los medios impresos El Telégrafo y El Universo y a medios televisivos como Teleamazonas y TC Televisión. Además, se puede evidenciar los datos referentes a la opinión pública que la población quiteña mantiene frente a la inmigración, la evolución de la inseguridad objetiva y subjetiva de la ciudad de Quito y su correlación con la población migratoria privada de libertad. Finalmente, se mostrarán los resultados del análisis de contenido y discurso sobre el tema inmigratorio, producto de lo cual se puede observar que el tratamiento mediático de los medios analizados no es adecuado y, además, que la población inmigrante no tiene mayor incidencia en la inseguridad ciudadana que presenta la ciudad de Quito.es_ES
